Hello internets. Sorry for the radio silence. Real life, and all that, I’m sure you understand.
Anyway here is where my shirtdress was on the 6th:

I actually did all that last night. 
Yeah so there hasn’t been much sewing going on but things are looking up!
I like how you can totally tell that I cut all those pieces out and then left them in a pile for a week and a half…. Oh and I finally figured out how to change the torso length of my dress form. I’ve only had the thing for a year or so….
To those of you on Blogger: I am unable to post on your blogs. I have been trying to keep up with reading and commenting but on Blogger sites I type up the comment, hit post, and it vanishes. There was a post on someone else’s blog, and I wish I could remember whose, where they said it was some Blogger/Wordpress conflict, but I wanted you all to know that I am still reading and *trying* to comment!
My sewing machine is still having those goofy thread tension issues and I know I need to take it in for service but I can’t bear to part with it…. so I got some yarn and a Kim Hargreaves book to console myself while it’s gone. Maybe if I start a cardigan *now* I will finish it by *next* fall.
